Electric Fairytale Recordings (EFR) is a deliberate genre defying music recording and publishing label that strongly believes that interesting music doesn’t have to do be pigeonholed into a specific genre since the appeal comes from the music itself, in all of its own uniqueness.

In the modern music world there is so much fusing and mixing of styles and genres going on, that the old way of labelling no longer seems sufficient when describing or defining music. The music itself has become far more adventurous then the industry that serves it. EFR is all about the genre defying movement. Right now it profiles the entire music catalogue of its founder and convinced genre defying composer and artist Stephen Emmer from Amsterdam in the Netherlands.
